Ecomms Specialist B2B/B2C

Magic Mountain is based in Beeston (just outside of Nottingham). We are focused on bringing you a full range of outdoor clothing, equipment, and accessories from some of the biggest names in the industry, we are not just an official factory store for Mountain Equipment, Sprayway, and Ron Hill – we are also home to Trekmates, Bridgedale and Go Gas stoves as well as massive brands from around the world such as Obōz shoes & Boots, Altra running shoes, and Zempire tents.

The Role

We are now seeking to recruit a full-time Ecommerce Specialist B2C/B2B. The successful applicant will oversee the development, implementation, performance, management, maintenance and operation of both B2C (Websites) and B2B systems (SFA). Serving as the point of contact for external and internal users, providing training and support.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide continuous support and maintenance of the groups online web platforms working across numerous systems, predominantly Shopify.
  2. Efficient communication with relevant stakeholders, both internal (brands) and external (Juno) of the business, to achieve objectives.
  3. Assist in the groups online projects, working within set time constraints to deliver the desired outcome(s).
  4. Maintaining constant communication of the team’s goals, time-frames and issues within the Bollin Group Digital team.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the groups online web performance and provide feedback on key strengths and weaknesses, including areas of improvement.
  6. Creating and presenting data/performance reports of online operations to key stakeholders.
  7. Plan, enable and evaluate major seasonal and/or operational changes to the groups online web platforms where required, providing feedback on the work undertaken to stakeholders within the organisational structure.
  8. Deliver the same for our B2B sales portal – SFA.
  9. Processing numerous sources of information and large sets of data, co-ordinating the information to provide documentation of key work undertaken to stakeholders.
  10. Continually analyse the groups online operations against current trends and competitors ensuring that high standards are maintained. Utilise this analysis to provide the group with relevant points of improvement in online operations.
  11. Provide the Bollin Group Digital team with continual support where needed, across not only online web platforms but also SFA projects.
  12. Setting up new accounts, provide training and support to internal and external users.
  13. To provide SFA support by phone/video calls or on-site to the SFA users.
  14. To take responsibility for contributing to own training and development.

Inventory Stock Analyst

Burton McCall is a multichannel sales, marketing and distribution company managing world-class brands in the UK and Ireland. Independently owned by the Bollin Group

The Role

Our Purchasing department are looking for an Inventory Analyst to join them on a permanent basis in our Leicester office. Reporting into the Purchasing Manager. You will be a key member of the purchasing team, working closely with brand managers.

Key Responsibilities will also include;

  • Ordering stock from allocated suppliers based on usage levels and forecasts to achieve the agreed KPI of 95% of goods supplied on first pick note, and 100% coverage on major lines at all times. Identify low stocks to Stock Control Manager.
  • Need to be familiar with freight importation methods including customs documentation and tariff/commodity coding to ensure that system records are compliant in relation to the Bonded warehouse.
  • Must gain knowledge of freight methods/industry with an understanding of costs and limitations of the methods (e.g. Air/Sea/Courier)
  • Analyse and amend individual products forecasts, taking into account demand history and product knowledge.
  • To quickly analyse stock-flow patterns and react accordingly after reviewing the sales and stock report information and present any stock shortages on top-selling stock lines to the Stock Control Manager and Purchasing Team.
  • Progressing allocated suppliers’ orders to the delivery date, communicating results and reporting problems that arise to the Stock Control Manager. Achieve the agreed KPI of receiving containers into warehouse within 6 days from arrival in port. Responsibility for typing correspondence, filing and maintenance of records related to suppliers.
  • Booking shipments in with the warehouse to ensure that the KPI is met and demurrage is avoided.
  • Updating computer records – booking in stock/stock adjustments, setting up new products, etc. and run the necessary processes in relation to the Bonded Warehouse.
  • Processing and posting of stock invoices for payment within prescribed limits and communicating and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Investigating stock variances and reporting findings to Stock Control Manager.
  • Set up price review files and ensure correct costs (duty rates and freight %) are attributed to products.
  • Providing monthly and ad hoc reports as defined by Stock Control Manager.
  • Effective inter-departmental communications, to include regular meetings with the Brand Owners for allocated suppliers.
  • Assistance in running purchasing department functions.
  • Analyse and review slow-moving inventory on a monthly basis.
  • Organise monthly review meetings with Brand Managers.

Key Skills and attributes;

  • Previous inventory analysing experience essential
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft access (not essential) skills
  • Must be able to communicate well with others in order to implement inventory control plans
  • Skill in handling multiple tasks and prioritising
  • Knowledge of Inventory management practices including proper forecasting, increasing turns, and slow-moving inventory
